Skill-building Through Service Van

Providing transportation for our clients is vital to the success of our Skill-building Through Service initiative. Thanks to the generosity of Valley National Bank, JVS has acquired a new 12-passenger van that will enable us to transport even more clients to and from their internships and volunteer engagements located throughout Essex County.

Employer Connections

Various Adults Setting Up Inside Montclair MuseumJewish Vocational Service partners with a number of local employers and community-based organizations that offer our program participants the opportunity to build job-related skills and acquire meaningful work experience in “real-life” work environments. In addition, our Skill-building Through Service initiative enables local non-profits to build their capacity to better meet the needs of those they serve by engaging JVS clients as trained volunteers.
