Skill-building Through Service Van

Providing transportation for our clients is vital to the success of our Skill-building Through Service initiative. Thanks to the generosity of Valley Bank, JVS has acquired a new 12-passenger van that will enable us to transport even more clients to and from their internships and volunteer engagements located throughout Essex County.

Employer Connections

Jewish Vocational Service partners with a number of local employers and community-based organizations that offer our program participants the opportunity to build job-related skills and acquire meaningful work experience in “real-life” work environments. In addition, our Skill-building Through Service initiative enables local non-profits to build their capacity to better meet the needs of those they serve by engaging JVS clients as trained volunteers.
