As a CNA, you’ll play a vital role on the healthcare team — supporting nurses, assisting patients with daily living activities, and ensuring comfort and safety in various medical settings. Earning your CNA certification also opens the door to career advancement opportunities in nursing and allied health.
Already a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)? You may qualify for an accelerated CNA training track, enabling you to build on your current credentials and expand your employment options in the healthcare field.

- Legal and Ethical Responsibilities
- Basic Nursing Skills
- Personal Care Skills (e.g., Activities of Daily Living, mobility and transfer techniques, nutrition and hydration)

Training Details:
- October 20, 2025 —
- Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Location: 7 Glenwood Avenue, LL, East Orange
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Have a minimum 8th grade math and reading level
- Must possess basic computer skills
