JVS helps people help themselves through innovative programs in training, education, and career counseling to create pathways to hope, independence, and employment. Inspired by Jewish values, JVS proudly serves clients from any and all backgrounds.

Vision

Our vision is a world where everyone is empowered to fulfill their own potential, regardless of the challenges they may be experiencing. It compels us to reach out to “the others” among us, those whom society often ignores.

JVS is guided by two Jewish values that have universal appeal:

Tzedakah: Helping people help themselves is the highest form of social justice and/or charity.

Tikkun Olam: Taking action to repair and improve the world.
