Comprehensive Training
Our program is designed to give you the skills and confidence to succeed:
- 60 hours of classroom instruction
- 16 hours of clinical/lab training
- 20 hours of Life Skills and Career Services, to prepare you for employment success!
What You'll Learn
- Safe use of medical equipment and mechanical lifts
- Basic nutrition and meal preparation
- Checking vital signs and dressing wounds
- Maintaining patient care records
- Assisting with personal hygiene and daily living tasks
- Supporting physical therapy routines
- Collecting routine specimens
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Assisting with household duties and patient transportation

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Minimum 8th grade reading level
