DESCRIPTION:Summer classes start July 14!\nAPPLY NOW | Adult Basic Education Classes | Summer Session: July — September | East Orange\, NJ \nThis JVS course provides adult participants with 16 hours per week of instructor-led classes in the core skills of reading\, writing\, and math to prepare for the GED. \nOur Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes enable students to strengthen their skills in preparation for the High School Equivalency exam (HSE\, formerly GED) and raise their Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System scores to be eligible for training programs and employment opportunities. \n\nABE classes are in-person at our East Orange\, NJ location\, and run from January to March 2025.\nThere is no cost to attend\, but registration and placement testing is by appointment only.\nTo schedule your placement appointment\, please register here: Registration for Services – JVS of MetroWest.\n\nRequirements: \n\n17 years or older and out of school\n\nTo learn more about the Adult Basic Education program\, please visit: Adult Basic Education – JVS of MetroWest.
