Job-Seekers Workshop: Speed Networking

Looking for a fun, low-pressure, and rewarding way to grow your professional network–and test-drive the skills you acquired at our September “Knock-out Networking” Job-Seekers Workshop? Join us on Thursday, October 3, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. for our annual Speed Networking event.

Speed networking offers you an excellent opportunity to make new contacts, practice your networking techniques, and socialize in a controlled environment. Worried that you won’t know what to do? Have no fear–we’ll provide all the tools you need and explain the entire process to you when you arrive.

Here’s all you need to bring:

• At least 30 business cards
• Your 30- to 45-second elevator speech
• An open mind–remember, every connection you make could be valuable to you in the future
• Your sense of humor–that, and a friendly approach, will make you most memorable
