Losing your job at any age is a huge stressor. Losing it when you’re 50+ or approaching retirement–but not quite ready to retire–seems like an impossible mountain to climb. However, these challenges can be overcome, even during this unprecedented time. Yes, things are different; but people are adaptable, and we must adapt to our new reality.
This 90-minute online workshop will offer you hope that, even though you’re a person of a “certain” age, you may be more marketable than you think. You just need to let go of your inhibitions and learn new ways of interacting with others. Our Featured Guest Speaker, Len Resto, had to find new employment in 2012–at the age of 59–after having been continuously employed since 1975. Then, after finding a new job, he was laid off a year later in a restructuring process–only to find another new job after that. So can YOU! If you’re looking for hope in a seemingly hopeless environment, this is the workshop for YOU.
