Dianne Doctor Joins the JVS Board of Trustees

JVS is proud to announce the addition of Dianne Doctor to the JVS Board of Trustees. Board President, Kenneth Peskin, is looking forward to working with Doctor as she brings a unique set of skills to the table.

Dianne Doctor was named Vice President and Station Manager of WWOR TV in June 2013. She also currently serves as Affiliate Relations Manager for Fox News Edge and Vice President of Programming Development for Fox Weather. Previously, Doctor was Vice President and News Director of WNYW/Fox 5 beginning in April 2008.

Prior to joining Fox 5, Doctor founded Galloping Hill Media, LLC to encourage and promote the growth of new opportunities in the expanding media universe.

Previously, Doctor served as Senior Vice President and News Director at WCBS TV, the flagship station of the CBS Corporation. Before that, she was Vice President and News Director at WNBC TV, also the flagship of the NBC/Universal Television Stations Division. Doctor was at the helm of WNBC Television on September 11, 2001, and guided the station’s news department in its extensive coverage of the terrorist attack. Both WCBS and WNBC were recipients of numerous Emmy awards under her leadership.

Doctor began her career as a producer and an on-air reporter, working in Syracuse, Little Rock, and at New Jersey’s state-wide broadcast network, NJN. She holds a BA in English from William Smith College and an MS in Telecommunications from the Newhouse School of Syracuse University.
